South Korea issued a warning Monday against leaking the personal information of coronavirus patients after local media speculation linked a recent outbreak to gay people in Seoul.

The country has won praise for its handling of the pandemic, but a fresh cluster of at least 86 cases has been linked to several nightclubs in the capital's Itaewon district.

Several South Korean media outlets reported last week that the venues were "gay clubs," though none of the venues describe themselves as such on their official websites or social media accounts.

Multiple reports also specified the age, district, type and location of work of the coronavirus patient believed to be at the center of the cluster.

While the patient's age and district were posted by the city, details about the individual's work information were attributed in local media to unnamed officials.

<United Airlines said it would try to keep middle seats empty. This photo shows a nearly full flight

After weeks working in New York City hospitals on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic, the time had finally come for Dr. Ethan Weiss to head home.

But the University of California, San Francisco, cardiologist was surprised by what he saw when he boarded a United Airlines flight from New York to San Francisco on Saturday.

Nearly every seat was filled.

A photo Weiss posted on Twitter appeared to show dozens of mask-wearing passengers sitting next to each other with no space in between.

"This is the last time I'll be flying again for a very long time," he wrote in a Twitter thread over the weekend, adding that a lot of passengers on the flight were "scared/shocked."

Weiss said he was a part of a group of 25 doctors and nurses who had been working in New York City hospitals for the past two to four weeks, and that United had flown them for free.

<PepsiCo moves to capture soaring demand for online groceries with new snack sites>

In just a few months, consumers have dramatically changed the way they buy groceries.

Before the pandemic, most people preferred to shop in person. Now, online sales are soaring.

PepsiCo is hoping to capitalize on the moment.

The company on Monday announced the launch of Snacks.com — a purveyor of its products such as Cheetos, Doritos and Lay's potato chips — as well as Pantryshop.com, which offers bundles of oatmeal, cereal and other options.

The sites could offer a short-term fix for people who are having a hard time placing orders on major e-commerce sites like Amazon, or those who want a quick way to order a variety of products.

"We wanted to give the consumer another choice," Gibu Thomas, PepsiCo's head of e-commerce, told CNN Business.

Thomas expects customers will still buy most PepsiCo goods through traditional retailers.

But, he noted, if people respond well to the new sites, it could help shape the company's retail strategy in the future.

Online food sales were up 66% for the week ending May 2, compared with the same period last year, according to market research firm Nielsen.

Food had the biggest year-over-year growth in e-commerce for that week, Nielsen noted.
